A question about Lighterlife

How long does it take to lose the weight? I am thinking 4-5 stone. An idea of time would be good so I know roughly how much it will cost me!

Hi YG, don't know much about LL but my nextdoor neighbour did it for 4 months and lost 4 stone. It was a shocking transformation - so quick. But therein lies the danger, she put it all back on (and some) once she started eating normally again. Basically, she put it on as soon as she had lost it.

Is there not another way for you to do it?

I do sympathize as I too need to lose 4 stone Sad

Yorkiegirl, it took me from October to April to lose 5 stone if thats any help, and my weight loss was quite slow due to metabolism poblems, some of the ladies I know have lost 5 stone during the first 14 weeks. Take it one week at a time, you are guaranteed a 3lb loss evey week if you stick at it but because of my problem it took me a little longer but I persevered and I feel fantastic Grin good luck!!

I have done Slimming World on and off for a while. Lost 4 stone last year but put 2 back on. I am just fed up, I want to get to the weight I want to be and then work at staying at that weight. If I was to get down to that weight then staying there would be more enjoyable. I am really struggling with my weight atm.

It's such a bastard isn't it? When people talk about yoyo dieting with the "yoyo" going 7lbs up and 7lbs down, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I've put on 5 stone in the last 3 years (had 2 children) but I've done that before. I know what it's like to be a size 12 but am currently a 20. Sorry to be the fly in the ointment regarding lighterlife, but I just think it's not the 'right way'. But hey, whatever works for you Smile best of luck x

I've been doing the Cambridge Diet(Same as LL,without the couselling and much cheaper!)since Feb and have lost 3.5 stone, although I have come off it for a few weeks.I think the weight loss is meant to be around a stone a month, but obviously everybody is differentGrin.
