So I'm using this to calorie track and have put in my goal weight of 9 stone but each day when you press " finished for the day" it says in 5 weeks you will be 9st 8 if you carry on like this. Why isn't it telling me when I will be 9 stone? I'm on 1200 calories a day plus shredding..

Ignore it. I've found, without fail, that MFP underestimates my weight loss. I've been on it for about 2 months and I prove it wrong every week

sunnyshine · 15/07/2013 12:55

Ok thanks! I'm not rushing but a end date would be nice!! You know in 3 months you will be 9 stone! Will ignore then and carry on as I am Grin

MFP always tells you what you would weigh in 5 weeks time if every day was like the one you just logged. Regardless of target.

How much are you aiming to lose a week? Should be easy to work out how many weeks it would take you to get to your target weight.

Spark people gives you an end date

Well, MFP aren't in charge of your target and when you meet it...that is down to you :)

I Love MFP but I ignore the in 5 weeks you will weigh.....it varies massively anyway depending on how low/high you have gone on your calorie allowance.

I lost just over a stone pretty quickly with MFP religiously logging everything, aim for 1-2 lbs a week and you should be able to work out roughly when you will get there. I gave myself a time limit and that worked for me.

Thanks. I am pretty religious but still find it amazing how high Calorie some stuff is! Think I'm going to get bored at lunch pretty soon! Any ideas!
