I'm trying to lose 2.5 stone... mainly post baby. my baby is 3 lol.

I really wanted to avoid a diet diet so decided to try it myself and see how I go.

My main thing is cutting out nibbles, which is mainly an evening issue but also when dd and i go out for a cup of tea.....

at brekkie I'm trying to eat cereal and fruit and occasionally a slice of toast and spread too.

lunch is salad or a sandwich (depends if have had toast iyswim, i'm trying to stick to no more than 2 slices of bread in a day). fruit.

evening meal is whatever i cook which has always been healthy, that's not the problem.

and evening nibbles, if they happen, which they tend to is fruit or veggies and dips. salsa is v low fat and some like soured cream and chive or whatever are too.... houmous (reduced fat/healthy eating) for a treat.

and that's it.

My other problem is that I was mildy anorexic in my late teens, early 20s, and was just on track when i got pg 4 years ago, I I am having to make sure I don't go mad, and am letting myself have a slice of cake every now and again, or out for a meal (got a hen party sat.... a bit wporried but one evening does not kill, i am now realsing).

i have lost over half a stone in about 4 weeks, which isn;t bad..... or is it? argh.....

over half a stone in 4 weeks is really good and a healthy rate - health proffesionals reccomend 1-2 lbs per week - well done!

do you reckon i should come along to your thread below? or am i not eligible :[grin}

schneebly · 07/06/2006 18:47

You are probably not fat enough - lol! No - seriously, it did start as a 'really big people' thread but lots of people have joined who dont have quite so much to lose! WWB started it so if you like you could come on to the thread and ask her (she is very nice!) Smile
