I was quite surprised to weigh myself this morning and find that I'd lost 2 lbs. I know it's not a lot, but I am now happily convincing myself I have stumbled upon a brilliant diet plan to up my metabolism!

I reckon I have been averaging 2000 calories per day. I have basically been sticking to my normal breakfast and lunch that I'd have when I am dieting, dinner has been more than my normal diet dinner, and then I've been having 2 - 3 chocolate bars a day Grin Blush

So, have I discovered a marvelous new diet plan, or is it a freak occurence? will probably go home and find I've put the 2 lbs on already

I guess it depends on how much you eat normally. I have recently lost weight averaging not much less thatn 2000 a day (about half a stone over 6 weeks or so, although think I may have gained this week). My big thing has been cutting out crisps and monitoring what I eat more. Also, I have been eating more ready meals which tend to be lower in calories, although I am prepared to be flamed for this. Have you been busier, more running around etc? I am of the belief that dieting too strictly slows your metabolism down.

No idea.

What are your stats, your dieting history, your exercise routine, weight/height etc, did you eat less before?

Anyway, enjoy :)
