Hi there,

I have lost around 1.5 stones over the last few months doing low carbing (pig2twig) but have hit a plateau-barely losing anything over the last 3 weeks (seem to lose/ gain the same 2lbs). I am also exercising regularly (Shred and gym). I don't think there are 'hidden additional carbs' sneaking in. I still have at least 1.5 stones to go before I am in the middle of a healthy BMI range, so it's not that I am so near my goal, that is slowing things down, IYSWIM. I have done low carbing in the past, and seem to stall/stop after the first 20lbs of weight loss, which is frustrating as I find it bloody hard going not eating bread etc-but I do it! The reason I low carb is because it seems to make me less obsessed with food (calorie counting etc doesn't work for me) stabilises my blood sugars, although it can be boring, I don't feel hungry and knocks off the weight fast-at least initially, which is a good motivator.

Anyway, I am going on holiday in 4 weeks'. I neeeeeed to knock off another stone within that time. I will do anything that will work-even if it means abandoning low carbing for now-to 'jolt' my body and fire up weight loss. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I am off out soon, but will check back later.

TIA
