basically, thats it. I am low carbing because ive previously had a lot of success with it. lost 2 stone, and kept it off for years and years, until stress took over and I gained it back over a few years.

Is this likely to work long term? ive managed to lose 4kg over three weeks. Not sure if its coz of the low carbs, or the lack of junk food, and rice/potatos/bread that i used to stuff my face with. I havent got bad breath, so not in ketosis. should i stick with it, or is this all i will lose?

the sort of foods i am eating:
two egg and mushrooms for breakfast with coffee.
salad leaves with either mackerel or pastrami and/or cheddar and tomatos for lunch.
same for dinner, or chicken breast with pan friend veg for dinner.
fiveish mugs of coffee a day. lots of water.

occasionally greek youghurt and blueberries/strawberries/banana for snack or breakfast. averaging at least one banana a day. :(

Paleo..... I did that from low carbing. Allowed fruit on it but restricted dairy

so i should stop the youghurt and milk in coffee?

you can have almond milk. and goats cheese/yogurt. on my eating plan I could anyway, but I hated it!

I prefer low carbing....coffee with cream is yum

The only fruit there that's not on a low carb diet is the banana - the strawberries and blueberries are fine (as are blackberries and raspberries). I'd keep the dairy myself, and drop the 'nanas.
