My hugely boring weight loss attempt

When I'm on a "fitness kick" I like to keep a record of what I've eaten/what exercise I've done in a day, and today I have just had a MASSIVE wake up call. I got my height and weight measured today, and at 5 feet 3 inches tall, I weight 9st 1lbs. I'm aware that this is a healthy BMI, but as an ex-ballet dancer and with a very small frame skeleton-wise, this neither looks nor feels right for me. And so, I will do something about it :)

My weight is nearly all in my bottom half, my calves, thighs and bottom are huge (admittedly a lot of it is atrophied muscle), whilst my top half is still quite little. Ideally, I'd love to lose about seven or eight pounds and just generally get toned up again-I miss being fit!! As of tomorrow, I'm going to make a note on here, hopefully every single day, as it gives me motivation not to have that extra biscuit or whatever if I know I have to write it down later. Anyone is more than welcome to join me, or indeed to ignore me :).

Okay-I'm back!! After a pretty rubbish couple of weeks and being pretty poorly (and somehow not actually losing any weight at all!!), I'm back on this! I have a HUGE performance coming up in exactly four weeks, so as of tomorrow, I'm back on the healthy eating and exercise bus! Anyone with me? Smile

Hello all. I just posted something saying I needed advice (never tried losing weight before) but have now seen this. May I join? I've got about a stone to lose and am moderately clueless about how to do this....will start posting about food tomorrow. Also need to locate scales!

Ok - yesterday was the first ever day of a kind of low-carb but not quite diet

Half a boiled egg (child hijacked the other half)
Porridge with water
Lots of Glass of water
Two carrots
Quinoa and tuna salad with broccoli
a few spoonfuls of sweet potato salad
Sushi - 4 pieces + lots of broccoli in sesame oil
100 ml white wine (just had to)

No exercise - am in the middle of a work crisis so doing nothing but work. Didn't feel too hungry but maybe that's because I wasn't doing it right!
