Low carb - but without dairy...

I did low carb a couple of years ago, and lost about 3.5 stone (yahoo!) which of course I have put back on.

I want to do it again - I never felt hungry and found some really tasty foods I wouldn't normally eat (some are still in my diet) but...

...since then I've been diagnosed with (mild) IBS - my triggers include milk, chocolate, butter, and to a lesser extent cream. (white flour products also, but of course these wouldn't be on the diet)

So has anyone found a good source of low carb recipes without these ingredients? I don't want to go too mad on the eggs!

i'm on paleo...which is almost the same as low carb, but no dairy, and fruit is allowed instead.

Look up "Well Fed" on Amazon. Lovely paleo recipes without dairy as it is Whole 30 compliant too. If you have a Kindle or a Kindle app try the sample and see if you like the style. That's what I did and I love it.

Yes Google paleo. Low carb and no dairy is quite a limited diet, but if you can get creative in the kitchen you won't get bored.

Ooh thank you! May eat all the crap in the house this weekend and then start. I like the sound of fruit being allowed.
