I'm thinking about starting tomorrow. I lost 2 stone after my dc2 was born and found it relatively easy. Haven't been able to start again with much success since dc3 was born (3.5 years ago!). Getting desperate now though. Can't fit ANY of my clothes :(

I've done the Cambridge before and struggled on the 2nd day with hunger and a headache but keep on the water, it soon passes. Distract yourself with doing something else to keep your mind off it. I've started again this morning -not Cambridge as its v expensive, have bought "Shake the Weight" from Internet, much cheaper than CD and less carbs overall too. Have 5 stone to lose and want to be a size 10 by Christmas. Currently a 16-18. The VLCD route is hard but the results are great. I regained weight and it was my own fault, I hate those who say ooh, the minute you stop it all piles on again! Good luck x

cheers tenbychristmas, I lost 3 pounds on 1st week but had had 2 meals out (couldn't avoid them) so not too bad. Hoping for better weightloss this week. Not felt that hungry. i'm on the sole source plus so I can have a small meal off a list of allowed foods. Not a lot of choice but it makes a difference to me that I can chew some food. I am a 16 now and want to lose 2 stone by Christmas or sooner.

I've been doing it for about 3 months and lost just over 3 stone. Hang in there... It's worth it xxx
