The hows of calorie counting

I'm beginning calorie counting. How do I tell if the kcal on the pack is for a cooked or uncooked weight? (e.g. bacon).

TIA

I am using that, it specifies whether it's a cooked or uncooked (and portion size) for some things but not others.

I imagine for an uncooked product, the weight on the packet will be uncooked ie the weight relates to the product as it is.

The kcal per weight will be for how it is in the packet. So X cals per 100g on a bag of pasta means dry weight pasta.

Thanks!
