Just finished day 3 of the ease in so start my two weeks of lemonade tomorrow. I'm a bit nervous as it's the first time I've done it post dd and I'm not sure when I'll be able to do the salt flushes as a single mum!! Any tips would be great Smile

Sorry but I have to say this is a terrible diet. It's not safe, nor is it sustainable as it has nothing to do with healthy eating. My DH did it once and I shudder every time he mentions it. There are a lot of earthier diet plans out there- ww, sw and 4:3 or 5:2 are all so much better and will help with long term weight loss.

I've done it many times and actually enjoy it!! I am only wanting to detox and shed a bit of body fat before trying to regain muscle. I use it to get out of bat eating ruts-it's like rebooting my body and brain!

What on earth is a master cleanse?!

You basically just drink a concoction of water lemon cayenne pepper and maple syrup I think? As well as doing salt water flushes (just drinking salt water to send you to the loo). I think it allows you to lose a huge amount of weight in a very short space of time. I did contemplate it once but wondered if as soon as I started eating again it would go back on?

Curious to see how it goes OP. I won't try it now as I am not too far from target weight cutting carbs and calorie counting but I do wonder what the results will be! Let us know

Good grief. Why would you do that to yourself?! Salt flushes and maple syrup? Seriously?

'Detox' is a myth, you know that, right? That's what you've got a liver and kidneys for. And yes, of course you would put the weight straight back on as soon as you started eating again. Plus you'd probably get a nice bit of muscle wastage into the bargain from not eating any protein for two weeks or however long.

If you want to 'cleanse' your body, eat loads of green veg and drink plenty of water. Don't smoke, drink, eat sugar or processed food. Easy.

I am with tea, I had a peek online, it looks like a quick 'fix' that just causes more damage than it 'fixes'

More veg for me but good luck if it works for you OP
