Right at the top of my acceptable weight range (tentative wave to anyone I have dieted with before) and this time also struggling with depression

desparately need a fresh start. thinking about something based on paleo and lots and lots of exercise (as this helps enormously with my moods)

anyone in? I'll be attempting to measure kilos lost (less emotional for me than pounds and stone so I can be more detached), inches and general mood/ outlook

anyone care to keep me company?

Hi
I would like to join you as we sound quite similar - I am at top end of weight range and really want to go paleo lite to sort it out plus train for a 10K .. want to check weight but really am more interested in improving self esteem and fitness levels.. so am off to gym in 3 hours to start running ...

Let's do it :)

Hi Shiny ..paleo is a way of eating which is supposed to mimic a caveman diet! Meat, veggies, nuts are in, grains sugar dairy out. There is a thread on here and a number of websites around.

Hurray zz how was the gym?

Gym was good - finished week 5 of C210K for first time and then came home and ate all the meat and vegetables! Been a good day .. but then most of mine are except for a moment of madness in the fridge!

How was your day?

Congratulations on week 5.

My day was good thank you, but too headachey for exercise ..sigh...am hoping that it was too much computer rather than sugar caffeine withdrawal which would be just too sad for words!

I'm not sure if I can fully embrace paleo ...more like 'inspired by.' But cutting out the crap has to be a good start.
