How much do my boobs weigh?

Hi all!
The baby-weight is gradually falling off and I'm back in my size 12 jeans but I'm still only just in the healthy weight zone according to the nhs height-weight table.

I'm 5'6", weigh 10st 7lb and can't figure put why ot's not less when I'm in size 12.

Anyway I've just had a revelation that it might be because of my enormous breastfeeding boobs! So, how much do you reckon a pair of 32HHs would weigh??

A lot!!! Not sure how you would weigh them though Grin

I often think the same (just big boobs in general, not breast feeding). Have resigned myself to judge my weight more by clothes size than scales, iykwim.

Just been doing some research

I don't think I've got a big enough bowl Blush

right I had hh boobs, I had a breast reduction to a d cup, the surgeon told me he had taken a lot out, apparently 1lb, I was horrified I though they were at least half a stone each. So in answer to your question not very much, sorry.

That's correct, for your height and weight you are only just under the threshold for a healthy BMI. Unfortunately due to vanity sizing its not realistic to say that a size 12 is a healthy weight - and due to so many people being overweight/obese, most people have a skewed idea of what is normal!

I'm the same height as you (much smaller boobs though:) ) and pre pregnancy was around 9.5 stone. I gained a lot while pregnant, and had got down to 10.5 before falling pregnant again. I would definitely not have classed myself as slim at 10.5, and if it hadn't been for falling pregnant again I would have been trying to lose that additional stone. I certainly felt much more fit and healthy at my original weight! Oh, and I was wearing a size 10/12 at 10.5, size 10 at 9.5.

A friend had reduction surgery : each boob reduced in weight by 1lb.

My friend had a reduction this year and she had 2.5lbs taken from each boob. She was one cup size smaller than me to begin with.

I'm off to try and weigh my boobsGrin
