Please help me tonight, DH has gone off to play snooker, kids in bed and normally I would be settling down with the laptop and a drink and enjoying some peace.

I need some bloody willpower but I haven't got any. Tell me off, for my own good before I go downstairs and get a bulmers!

Can you do something to occupy yourself? A walk? Clean out a cupboard? Call a friend?

Bulmers is possibly the worst alcohol choice you could make- it's full of sugar. Are you in ketosis? If so, Bulmers will wreck it. If you're going to drink, the best low carb one is spirit and soda. Yuck, I know, but not cake in a glass like Bulmers!

I know Atavistic, yes I'm in ketosis and I know it will. Will have a vodka instead. I lost 5 lbs last week and I don't want to ruin it.

A vodka, tonic & a slice of lime wouldnt knock you out of ketosis.

Would it be ok if I had vodka with diet fanta or something instead BlackAffronted? As you can see from the bulmers cravings I have a sweet tooth when it comes to alcohol and I just couldn't drink it with tonic.

I keep in ketosis with cava/ prosecco with diet lemonade or bucks fizz with diet lemonade X
