Tortoise, Ive had a few spells where I've not been very good with what I've eaten but when I really think about it, I've not been bad, just normal really. I think everyone needs to have a treat sometimes but we've been doing this for quite a while now so little treats seem like big sins.
The way I look at it is that I'm eating more normally now and I want to eat treats every now and again. I'm therefore not loosing weight but I think if I ate less, once I started eating normally, the weight would just go back on (I hope that rambling makes sense) So I've increased the amount of exercise I'm doing in the hope that at some stage, that's going to make a difference.
Stick with it Tortoise, you've done fantastic so don't give up hope now
Thanks for those words Heavybee, I hadn't thought about muscle weighing more than my flabby tummy and thighs. Not sure I have developed muscle yet but it made me feel better for a while
Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I went cycling this morning (about 5 miles) with DS on the back and did my Race for Life training this afternoon. Our instructor had us practising sprint finishes (like that's going to happen after 5K) and after an hour of running like I haven't for years, every bit of me aches. Off to have a nice hot bubble bath rather than indulging in a bar of chocolate
