Is it worth buying Slimming World books on ebay?

I've been trying to lose a stubborn stone for the last 6 months and I've come to the the conclusion after losing nothing on the 5:2 diet and a few pounds on MFP, that Slimming World is worth a try as I lost a ton of weight over 10 years ago on it.

I attended all the classes etc and found it very easy to follow but I can't attend a local class as my DH gets home from work too late for me to attend.

Is it worth me buying the books on eBay rather than signing up to the online membership which is £60 for 3 months at the moment?

it depends what it is that you think makes you lose the weight. is it the fact that you have to go and stand on scales every week or is it just having a plan to follow. sw has changed no longer just red and green days but extra easy plan. anyway round you being able to go along and weigh if you think this is what does it for you?

I have them on PDF if you want me to e-mail them to you?

Maybe. But for me it wasn't what was in the books. You know all that stuff already?

It's the paying of the weekly ££ that motivates me. Oh, and being answerable to the SW consultant.... Grin
