Today is the day I start making changes to my god-awful diet.

No more huge bars of chocolate every day
No more curries late at night
No more skipping breakfast
No more starving myself all day then eating great big meals and chocolate when I get in from work at 10pm
No more being fat
No more hating myself
No more feeling miserable

I have 2 stone to lose (not bad considering how badly I eat)

Just needed to write all that down so I can see how bad I am and for the motivation to change myself.

Wish me luck!

What are you doing instead of all the above?

Good luck!

Loz1980 · 04/03/2013 12:59

Just trying to eat 3 normal meals a day with no unhealthy snacks and no eating late.
Sounds easy but I've tried and not succeeded before so I suppose we'll see how I manage this time!
I've got 2 months til I go on holiday so would like to have made a good start by then.

Thats pretty much my plan. Just 3 proper meals a day plus one mid afternoon snack (am bfing)
Our bodies don't need to be eating and/or digesting food all the time. Its good for us to go for a few hrs of not eating

I'm sure you can lose some good weight in 2 months!

Good for you.

Might it be an idea to do a meal plan for the week? That really helped me stop grabbing anything in the cupboard when I came in.

Good luck loz!
I'm 2-3 weeks into a plan exactly like yours.
With some jogging/swimming/30 day shred.
It's going ok tbh, I've tried and failed before but it feels different this time.
Also just booked a summer hol so I've got that to aim for too.
I had three stones to lose, and have lost around 9lbs so far.
Long way to go and know weightless will slow but an still determined!

I've done well today so off to a good start.
Porridge for breakfast
Wholemeal roll toasted with bit of spread and marmite for lunch
Chicken, pasta and salad for tea

Told myself I could have a snack if I needed it but haven't felt hungry so didn't have one today.

Thanks for the support everyone Smile

I also watched The Biggest Loser this morning for a bit of motivation and ran up and down the stairs a few times.
Thinking of going jogging at some point this week too.
