Low Carb for just 2 WEEKS - is it worth it?

Going on holiday in 2 weeks time. I'm 5ft 10 and weigh 10st 7lbs. I'm between a size 10 and 12. So I'm not overweight - I just feel a bit frumpy.

I know atkins will shift a bit of weight in two weeks but I find it torturous. Is it worth it?

Define frumpy? If you are happy with your weight, is it your shape you are unhappy with?

If by frumpy you mean carrying more weight round your middle, then lower carb will help with that - as a longer term change rather than a couple of weeks crash dieting which will only work for a short time.

Forget Atkins, look into Paleo, lchf or Briffa... Pick one and give it a go! None of those should be torturous, honestly! Smile

Yes it will make a mountain of difference. I have only done a week and I look completely different - no weight loss as yet but combining low carb with only 5 days of the shred and the change is quite astounding.
