Juice fasting?

Bought DH a full on juicer for his birthday in an attempt to up his overall health and immune system by having veg juice for breakfast (a meal he normally skips) but to kick start us both into good habits we're thinking of doing a juice fast, 3-10 days.

Anyone one a particular one (heard a lot about Jason Vale) that they can recommend?

fasting except for sugary, fibreless juice and 'health' do not go together. Starvation diets knock off the weight quickly, but it will go straight back on with interest.

please eat properly, don't mash up good food, and move around.

Thanks but I'm not doing it for weightloss (well aware that just 3 days is unlikely to make a difference and even if it does the weight will go back on immediately on eating normally) so I appreciate maybe I should post this somewhere else.

We have a pretty healthy diet as is and I'm fairly active already, especially with training for a 545mile bike ride, so I'm hardly looking for a quick fix then expecting to just sit on my arse and eat cake the rest of the time!

I did the Jason vale diet in January 2012. I lost 9lbs in a week and I used it to kick start a healthy eating plan. I have not regained a single pound of those original 9. My healthy eating plan failed!

It was hard work but well worth it
