thinking about having a go on it, does anyone do it & how do you find it? what do you eat?
i normally have porridge for breakfast, wrap/pitta/sandwich for lunch & tea is something including lentils or beans so i'm guessing most of that will need to change?
thanx for any advice

Hi scabby, I am pondering this too as am a real Carb Queen. As such I don't think I am going to go very low carb but will go low carb in a way that I up my protein and decrease the carbs such as past and rice or potatoes in meals to minimal.
Main complaint is breakfast on low carb sites....eggs, eggs and more eggs. I mean I love a cooked breakfast but wouldn't want it everyday so am looking at minimising carbs rather than getting too het up about it. The other big issue on low carb diets appears to be constipation and the need to drink large amounts of water. I can't help thinking that a healthy diet would not do this...hence the low carb rather than very low carb. I'll find a link from somewhere and report back.

Why don't you come and join us on Bootcamp? There are lots of us doing it.

Here's the current chat thread

It's a 10 week thing and we're in week 7, but you can join in at any time. And if you look at the OP, there's a link to the spreadsheet where we record our weight. At the bottom of the spreadsheet are different tabs, one of which gives you all the rules.

There's no need

a) to eat eggs every day for breakfast
b) to be constipated, if you're getting all your carbs from vegetables/salad, and if you're drinking plenty
c) to cut out all carbs; it's about getting carbs from the right sources, i.e. vegetables and salad

There is also a reason for drinking plenty of water - apart from helping to make sure you don't get constipated, it also helps flush out the ketones that we produce when we are fat-burning - i.e. it helps with the weight loss.
