Anyone want a serious 'buddy' to lose 1.5 stone with?

I want to lose 1.5 stones and could do with some support/encourage/competition/nagging.
Anyone in the same situation?
Need some one who is going to stick to it and actually do it.

come over to me and lilibet and gingernutlover on the Rosemary Conley thread. We're very supportive and exceptionally serious (except lil and her peanuts!!) Grin

I have lost 10lbs so far and aim to lose another 10.

Yes me - that's exactly how much I want to loose and I can't shift because I'm always going to start tomorrow!! How should we do it? Food diary? ARe you following a particular plan or just going healthy?

Thanks kbear I have put it on my watch list.I am off to bed now and will read it in the morning.I lost a stone on this about 10 years ago and was thinking off giving it a go again

Well I've lost 8lbs recently through healthy eating and moderate exercise.
I had cut out all junk, had 3 sensible meals a day, snacked on fruit and did a 30min Davina workout every other day and long walks.
I've weakened and need a kick up the backside.
Just eaten some chocolate.
Would like to start again tomorrow.
I don't know much about Rosemary Conley. What does she preach?

It's a very easy healthy normal food kind of plan - low fat and low GI. I haven't changed much except now I stir-fry without oil, don't add butter/flora to anything, multigrain bread not white, new potatoes not old, smaller portions of everything(obviously) and it's working. Lost 14.5 inches all over and 10lbs in weight in six weeks. Also I've started swimming again and do the keep fit class at the weigh-in. The odd choc craving here and there but you can factor that in to the calorie allowance of 1500 per day if you're desperate. Lots of fruit and veg and salad too of course. I feel much better, I feel refreshed not sluggish and it's all GOOD!

Sounds good to me - its like what I've been doing.
What say you poshtart?
