Which weight loss club?

Could anybody give me some advice about which weight loss clubs welcome people without much of a weight issue? Over the last year Ive really let myself go, and gained almost a stone, Im still only 8.5 stone, but I hate it, my clothes dont fit, and I feel unattractive, its especially obvious on my face. Ive started back at the gym, but Id really like to join a group to keep me motivated. I went to a local one last week, the women there were all enormous compared to me, and lots of them asked why I was there as I didnt need to lose weight. Are there any in particular that people attend just to lose a stone? I live in Derby if anyone could help. Thanks in advance

My friend was in a very similar position to you and she joined ww and lost all of the weight she wanted too. Have you thought of trying Myfitness pal instead? It's free and I lost my excess weight just using that.

All of my friends go to slimming world and love it though. There is a free 7 day meal plan on their website.

I wouldn't take too much notice of the other members at the club either. How much you weight, how you feel about yourself and how much you want to loose is your business, not theirs.

seriously? are you for real elskling?

Think it is unfair to judge the op. I'm very petite and don't carry weight well. If I put on a stone I'd look positively porky. She could just be the same.

I think (s)he has been banned by MNHQ, as (s)he has been posting some delightful stuff on various threads today... hence my biscuit.

Ah I see. Hope you enjoyed your Biscuit. I've been eating too many fig rolls today. I will start back on my 5:2 sometime soon, I'm just a too busy this week eating biscuits Grin

It was, I believe, my first Biscuit. Not, however, my first biscuit in RL, sadly, .... fig rolls are healthy compared to what I ate. Good luck with the 5:2.

Still haven't started it yet. In my defence dd is ill and is living off fudge and cake and I'm trapped in the house. Oh well, there's always tomorrow......
