Embarrassing Fat Bodies

Just watching this and getting annoyed that the docs /nutritionists still seem reluctant to say natural fats and butter are ok to eat, though they are getting better at admitting that grains and carbs are are not the top foods they once were.

I watch this and other fat/diet programmes to warn me, and I admire the bravery of the people going through the processes on show, but I do wonder at the advice given sometimes, when there is so much information ( not all uncontested I know) about the benefits of fat and protein in weight loss regimes.

Anyone else had doubts about this programme and Supersize vSuperskinny?

I think they are giving standard advice, showing a balanced diet of one third veg; one third carbohydrate, smaller portion of protein and smallest of fat and sugar.

They may be many other opinions around (some of which may prove to be correct) but the accepted standard is still what they are promoting
