Breakfast and lunch ideas

The diet starts Monday - but I need some ideas!

I work from 8 till 2 each day. I can't eat first thing in the morning (I'm up at 6) so usually eat at my desk or in my tea break.

I don't get a lunch break and when I finish at 2pm I go straight to do the school run and then on to dance class so no time to sit and eat lunch.

So basically I need breakfast ideas I can take from home and eat at my desk / in my tea break - I usually have a yogurt and cold toast but want to cut down on bread.

And lunch ideas I can eat on the bus!! It's the only time I get ten mins to sit down! I usually have a sandwich or grab a wrap but again trying to cut down on bread and quite often don't have time to pop into the shop for the wrap Hmm

So any suggestions??

I was going to suggest mushroom and tomato omlette but as you don't like breakfast till later maybe fritatta.

Fry mushroom and toms in fry light, while you are doing this have a flan dish heating in the oven. Add the mushrooms and 4-5 eggs to the dish and bake for 20-ish minutes at a medium heat. Cool and slice.

get a food thermos and buy or make soup, if not chunky you can drink it
Lakeland does nice ones, they keep food warm upto 6-10 hours.

if you think it might be messy how about rice cakes, oatcakes or corn thins with some sliced peppers, baby sweetcorn or cucumbers or fruit
I know they are not very wintry, but better than nothing.
other ideas - low fat yogurt drink, Babybel Light, chunks of cold chicken?

I can see why you are struggling to come up with ideasSmile

do you have a microwave at work? my staple breakfast is Oatsosimple (cinnamon or apple ones, yum yum!) with skim milk & sprinkle of nutmeg. quick, easy, warming, filling - I do eat it for dinner sometimes as well.
