Just made the easy crispy chicken from the book - om nom nom. Absolutely bloody lovely. Was a bit Hmm at the low fat yoghurt (don't really believe in 'low fat products' but it's lovely!

Can't find the recipe on line (yes I know, how helpful! Grin ) but will try and remember to post it later.

Now.. can I be arsed to fart around with the no pasta lasagne tomorrow?

I made their Rich Beef and Ale Casserole and Paprika Chicken from The Hairy Dieters cookbook. Both were very tasty.

The book can be bought for £5 + postage from The Book People website.

YY, I've got the book - definitely worth it!

Its perfect for me - proper food, just with a bit less lard Grin

The paprika chicken is gorgeous. So is their chilli. I love this book.

I'm doing my menu plan from it next week, really looking forward to trying the chicken

OwlCatMouse · 02/01/2013 19:13

Ahh the chilli is the same as I make it anyway, except I put in more veg. Tis lovely.

Meal plan from the book is a great idea - DS will eat anything from it that isn't spicy, so that'll make things simpler.

I have also discovered harissa.

I`ve lost 2 stone using this book last year, took 6 months but never felt like on a diet, and continue to use the tricks.

I've just watched the one where they make a 330 calorie pie. I think I cheered.

Good series, wasn't it?

I was a bit Confused about the bloke who only managed to lose 2lbs in was it 3 months?! He readily admitted he'd been cheating but still! I guess you have to be 'in the zone' to get motivated to lose weight.

Anyway, hope they can keep the weight off!
