Anyone watching Hairy Dieters on BBC2? I was so sad for Si :(

They went back to Si's old primary and Si spoke about the fact he was a big kid. His teacher came into the food hall and shouted that Si was only to eat food he brought in as he was on a diet. All the dcs looked at him The bloody teacher has said it in front of them all. I hope he's watching now and cringing.

Just seen them at WW meeting, one girl looked fab and had lost, I think, 18stone? She'd booked in for gastric band op and 2 days before cancelled and decided to do it without the op and with diet and exercise.

I need to lose 1.5 stone and am determined to do it this year.

That could have been me at school. A teacher made a big fuss in the dinner hall about whether I was on a diet or not so I stopped having school dinners and started going home at lunchtime. The school secretary would check to see what I had for my play piece in front of the whole class so I would hide it and say I didn't have anything and then eat it in the toilet instead of going out to play. I wasn't even very overweight, just a chubby child. I don't have to look very far to see where my issues come from!
