Does I-fit need live internet?

Hello, I can't find an answer on the Ifit website so looking for an answer here is anyone knows it.

I have wifi in the house but my treadmill is in the garage and the internet doesn't reach out there. Does this rule the Ifit out for me?

It's a while since I used my clothes horse (I mean treadmill) but I think you just need the ifit programme cards but no wifi.

next question, is the ifit good? I'm wanting to buy a treadmill and lose weight. Lost 30 lb so far with just MFP but want to add exercise.

Sorry this is old, just come back to it. We don't use it to be honest very often. Costs for each card which are in levels so each time you move a level you need a new card (unless they have upgraded the system) a treadmill without is much cheaper. We only got it cos it was a refurbished model and therefore cheaper.
