Heres another week!

This will be my last I'm afraid as we are moving house probably next week or week after and I wont have internet access for a few weeks Shock Sad

If someone wants to volunteer to update the chart and carry on that would be good.

2lbs on for me! Brain not working at the moment, needs constant supply of hot cross buns to keep it going Blush.

Well done jambuttie - how is everyone else doing?

chickenrice · 05/04/2006 00:13

Where's everyone?

Have lost 5lbs. Yipeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Well that's mostly all the weight I put on from my holiday over a week ago.

Earlybird · 05/04/2006 01:40

Down a pound, but expect to struggle the next few weeks as am in America, and my exercise/healthy eating routine is out the window!

Smalline · 05/04/2006 09:55

Hi everyone, sorry I missed the weigh-in last week, I celebrated my 2lb lost 2 weeks ago very well, didn't help that I found 4 huge 200grms bars of chocolate in the cupboard that my lovely Dad had put there for my kids who at 3 and 5 are not into chocolate that much, between me and my husband we finished off 3 of them in a week, I wouldn't go near the scales last week as I was too scared, anyway I ventured back on them this week and I am sad to say that 12 stone has claimed me back:( 2lbs on this week putting me back to 12 stone 1. Anyway I am back with a vengence now so hopefully I'll be back to 11 stone something in no time (yea right):o!

busywizzy · 05/04/2006 11:42

10st 1lb so 1lb back on for me Sad

Can't say I'm surprised as I celebrated loosing a stone last week but eating lots Blush and now I haven't lost it.

Ho hum, back on track this week.

I'll do the chart if you like furball, will keep me motivated to keep going Smile

Dingle · 05/04/2006 12:05

Sorry, I've not weighed in for a while!!Blush Still stuck in my 10st 3lb rut!!!

teacups · 05/04/2006 15:44

Meant to say, Furball, good luck with the move and thank you for all the hard work you have put into the chart. It has been fun (even if I have gained as much as I have lost IYSWIM)! Thanks to buzywizzy for taking it over.

Shall we continue past easter ladies?

XXX

jambuttie · 05/04/2006 16:12

yes please continue this it has inspired me to loose weight I have lost over the stone since joining this wee group weigh in which is way more than when I paid £5 per week to weigh at a slimming club

tangerinecath · 06/04/2006 12:31

I'm afraid I'll be bowing out now. I have put on again this week and I'm still heavier than I was when we started in January SadAngryBlush

Clearly something needs to change in my head before I can start losing weight. I'll try again in a couple of months.

Thanks so much to Furball and Figleaf for all their hard work and good luck to all of you.

busywizzy · 06/04/2006 13:35

Happy birthday Tortoise - no eating cake now Wink

jambuttie · 06/04/2006 15:54

you know I found my weigh in card from when I started at scottish slimmers in october which I gave up in november in add.

I weighed 13 st 10lb when I registered with scottish slimmers and am now 12st 1lb by being motivated here on mumsnet. I don't pay a fiver to be weighed to sit and listen to some thin chick telling me where i am going wrong.

Thanks again folks for all the support I need to loose another 2 stone to be ideal weight so will keep it tuned here for more inspiration.

Maybe we can swap recipes like we did before I will start a thread on it

busywizzy · 06/04/2006 15:58

Well done Jambuttie, that's a fantastic achievement Smile

Furball · 06/04/2006 19:30

Dustanyone · 06/04/2006 21:29

I know I'm too late for this weeks chart (school holidays have thrown me) but I've lost another 1lb..... hopefully it can be added next week busywizzy? (Thanks for taking the job on!)

Thanks for all your hard work too Furball, good luck with the move.

busywizzy · 08/04/2006 18:38

It's all gone quiet here again. So how's everyone doing. I've been quite good this week and have been running a few times - albeit with DS in the buggy so not proper but it did get me all puffed out.

I just don't feel like I'm loosing weight anymore and think getting under 10st is going to be a hard one to crack. I'm 5'10" though so maybe 10st is as much as my body wants to do [she says in a 'it's not my fault then' kind of way] Grin

tortoise · 08/04/2006 19:09

Hi busywizzy. Not going to be good weigh in this week for me i fear! Had ds1's birthday today so more cake etc.Have been on the go all day with his little party at home.So maybe thats helped keep the weight down a bit.
You are doing so well.My old weight watchers book says the ideal weight range for your height is 9st13-12st6 so you are within that.Smile

busywizzy · 08/04/2006 21:17

Tortoise, all good mummies must eat cake on the birthdays of their children. It just wouldn't be right to have none on such a special day Smile Hope the party went well.

It's a bit hard at the moment isn't it to keep focussed on eating well and exercising when I feel like I've been good for so long. I have days when I'm not good and then find that I've stayed the same or even gone up a pound. I so want to be 9st 10lb before the summer as that's what I was before I had DD and she's now 8. I'm also going away for a fancy weekend to London with DH in two weeks and have to buy a new dress and although it's only a couple of pounds, I really want to be under 10st (so I can eat and drink and not worry Grin )

Hope everyone else is having a good week.

tortoise · 09/04/2006 14:22

i feel good today Grin. just did the davina dvd and ive found out all my old ww books.Lost 43lbs about 4 years ago so i know i can do it! Got to 11st7 then.Going to try keeping food diary and adding up the points. My biggest problem is that i only drink orange squash and i hate sugar free ones! one big glass is 2 points.Im on my 4th!!ShockThat leaves me with 10 points for food.Got 6 bonus points for the exercise dvd though!

Im sure you can do it busywizzy.good luck.

tortoise · 09/04/2006 14:24

And the party was great thanks!Smilethey all seemed to enjoy it.

busywizzy · 09/04/2006 14:33

Tortoise, you put me to shame. DS is asleep in his cot (he's not well), DD is round a friends and DH is asleep on the sofa. So I should do some exercise but instead, I'm going to put my feet up and read the Sunday papers. Feel like I deserve it as DS was up in the night at 11, 2, 4 and then started the day at 6.30. He's been really clingy and tearful all day. What a long day (and night) it's been.

Oh well, no time to eat much Grin
