the only resolution I set myself this year was to end it a stone lighter than I started it. well we are nearly at the end of the year and I have lost and then regained that stone. I have also stopped smoking so am allowing myself a bit of slack.

I lost 4 stone when dd2 was born and have put three of them back on. I need to stop the trend before it gets set in.
So I have decided that I need to lose that stone I promised myself by the end of the year. I cant do low carb, was doing ww but seemed more intent on finding ways to cheat than actually doing it.

When I lost the 4 stone it was through writing everything down and upping the excercise.
I have ordered a bike so hoping to start cycling half an hour a day and gone back onto MFP to log everything.
In total I need to lose about 3.5 stone but that first one would be a good start. Also I am always tired and struggle with low iron often, I have bought myself a good multivit and iron and am hoping that when I am a bit less tired I will be able to excercise better control over my eating.
So is it doable, and does anyone fancy joining me?

I'm so in. I keep piling on weight and have 101reasons to lose it (daughter starting school and don't want to be fat mum, asthma, clothes, chasing toddler etc) I just seem to keep using food as a treat or when bored (its been a pretty tough year) .

I. Know I will feel so much better about myself if I get this under. Control.

I am SO IN. I moved to the USA two months ago, just got on the scales and I have put on a stone and a half despite (seriously!), my best efforts - not been eating more/worst on purpose but somehow...

Going back to the UK for xmas (in five weeks!), and really want to have lost a stone. I am going low-carb as I have major bloat issues with carbs and have bought a kinect fitness thing as can't commit to out of the home exercising.

I need to do the same thing. 1 stone by xmas. I am doing the alternate day fasting thing. 500-600 cals on fasting day. Normal eating on next day. I have also really upped my exercise and I'm doing 2-3 hours a day. I'm only in the first few days so don't know how much I've lost yet but I can see inches have gone.

I used to do slimming world and would have probably lost a stone in that length of time on SW too.

Exercise is key too.

So far so good, although I'm not sure the 4 slices of fruit toast for supper helped!
I also need to find ways of exercising more.
