I had had a health assessment today as I joined a new doctors surgery and my bmi is fine (21.2) weight is okay (67kg and 5ft 9), but was advised to lose 2 inches on my waist. Dd is 10 m ths old now so I guess I can't use baby weight as an excuse anymore.

I work out 3 times a week at the gym (50 mins cardio and 30 mins toning), I have lost a stone since having dd but recently gained 5lbs back :-(

Any advice on how I can lose 2 inches off my waist?

Thank you

Try bodytv.com twelve minutes a day, has sorted my flabby belly and back problem too. Takes a bit of commitment, but is effective in about six weeks!

You may need to target the oblique abdominal muscles to reduce the waist. I would suggest you look on you tube for exercises.

If your not doing it already I would recommend a low carb diet.

Try side plank and russian twists to tighten up your obliques. Have you tried eliminating gluten? It can be very bloating apparently.

I would second the low carb.
