I'm MFPing and always find myself a bit short of inspiration for a low cal lunch. This week I've had:

  • a wrap with extra light mayo and wafer thin ham
  • scrambled eggs on toast
  • veggie omelette

Any other inspiring suggestions for me. I always get terrible after school food cravings and that is where I struggle to eat sensibly, I need a lunch that really fills me up, thanks Smile

I have -
half a tub of cottage cheese with a big salad
wholemeal pitta with houmous and salad
wholemeal pitta with dry fried halloumi light, homemade tatziki and salad
Homemade lentil and veg soup.
salad made with couscous, low fat feta cheese or chickpeas, cherry tomatoes, chopped cucumber, peppers etc dressed with lemon juice

Ooh, homemade tsatziki (sp?!) - YUM! Good idea Smile
I LOVE homemade salsa but too lazy to peel tomatoes very often! Also, I have found homemade pittas (dough in the bread machine) are much tastier but same calories as shop ones.
I'm not a cottage cheese or salad lover - wish I was Blush
