Slimming world peep, would you share a typical day's menu (and look at my average day) please.

I'm toying with the idea of joining slimming world tomorrow as my sister has done very well on the plan.

I'm wondering what you can eat on a typical day, so if anyone is happy to share I'd be grateful.

Also, below is what I eat on a typical day when following mfp. I'm wondering if I'll have to make massive changes to make slimming world work for me. So if anyone could have a look at that, I'd be doubly grateful.

Breakfast - Cereal and milk
Lunch - 3 crackers with philly lite, apple, special k chewy delight cereal bar.
Dinner - usually jacket potato with tuna mayo or chicken and veg or spaggetti bolognaise or chicken fajitas etc.
And I like a tiny snack (treatsize bag of white buttons) on an evening when the kids are in bed.

Thanks again.

Why don't you join the Slimming World thread here you'll be made more than welcome :)

Post your question on there and there are menus posted for typical days.

Depending on what plan you follow and what cereal you eat etc Slimming World can fit into any 'diet'.

ie: cereal; porridge, weetabix etc or any cereal on the SW Healthy Extra B list can be used there (with milk from allowance)
The apple is fine and free, the crackers and cereal bar would have to come out of your syns (if on an extra easy day and you've used your one B choice for cereal)
Jacket potato and tuna/chicken is free on extra easy but again, syns for mayo.
Spaghetti Bolognese can be made SW friendly :)

Join your closest group, the support I get at mine is brilliant, but the thread above really helps too!!

Thanks. Had no idea from the title that it was a SW thread so hadn't looked there. Off to read it now.

I am a big eater and i am doing slimming world and loving it. There is so much food you can get and as long as you are doing extra easy . There is much you can have you just have to count it into your syns and decided what you want to use your syns on. I would rather use my syns to have a vodka and slimline mixer than chocolate for snacks. Its alot better than Weight Watchers as there isn't much weighting out to do, which i don't have time for with 3 yr old twin boys to look after and you can adapt most meals with a few changes and tweaks.
