I was doing low carbs, with success but it meant eating a lot of food my 15 month old bf son is allergic to and he's seemed very allergic recently so thought Id try a few things, one of them being putting myself on his diet.
Since stopping the low carb diet, I seem to have developed an intolerance to wheat, in white bread and pasta anyway.
Ok so my now diet is,
Breakfast - cuppa tea, 1 brown sugar and a bowl of bran flakes.
Lunch is quinoa or rice with baked beans and tuna or smoked mackrel.
Dinner is fish (cod, haddock, tuna) with veg with rice or quinoa.
Rice cakes for snacks.
The above is what I do. But I also have and plan to cut out in bid to lose weight, the soya yoghurts, the occasional ale or glass of wine, chocolate soya milk, soya cheese, the occasional jelly pot.
I weigh a stone too much, but not over weight. I way a stone heavier than I did when the baby was 6 months old. All thanks to an egg free dairy free carrot cake recipe that I found which was devine.
Ok, could I lose weight on the above diet? Or am I up for a fail/weight GAIN?
