Slimming world in a nutshell please?

I'd love some info about what it is like on Slimming World. How does it work?

DOES it work?

I'm currently using MFP, but like to try something different every now and again.

I used slimming world and found it most effective...

In a nut-shell you have red {meat} and green {pasta/potoe} days or the third plan is where you mix red and green but have only one healthy option {other two plans you have 2 healthy options} which is your bread/breakfast dairy choices.

you get to eat as much vege and fruit as you like and there are other things classed as 'free food' and this is all explained very easily in the book.

next you have your 'syns' I think its 15 a day and its easy to stay within them if you are careful and understand that depending on what you choose depends on how many syns you use up.

I have always lost weight on this plan and once you reach your ideal weight you can have extra healthy options or more syns as long as you stay within your weight...its also free once you reach your targe weight.

I have used SW to lose over five and a half stone. It definately works if you do it properly. I have never done the old red and green days but have used the new Extra Easy Plan. Lots of free food and you can eat as much pasta and potatoes as you want.

It looks a bit complicated when you first get started but it soon becomes clear and I have been going for a year now. Took 8 months to reach target and then decided to go for another half stone.

It worked for me BUT you have to stick to it. Good Luck!
