Hi,

I started using MFP three weeks ago in an attempt to lose about a stone and a half, and then read an article about how fizzy drinks make you fat...at first I thought yeah right...but it seems its true, they don't make you fat per se, they actually make you want to eat.

so I did an experiment, I quit fizzy drinks for two weeks then had a diet coke, and within about 15 mins I had the munchies! it was crazy!

anyone else experienced this?

I have also read (probably on here) that diet drinks/food confuse your body with its artificial sweetener and so it treats them like sugar, even though they are not.
