Stomach like a kangeroo pouch!!!

I have a stomach like a kangeroo pouch, since having the DC who are now 4 and 5. I should lose about a stone really and need to do a lot of exercise I think as losing weight probably wouldn't shift it alone.

Do you think if I did 5 exercise classes a week (different one each day depending what's on at the gym) do you think the kangeroo pouch would go?

It is bothering me, quite a bit!

The fat will go, the muscles will tone, but if the skin is stretched it may not go back to how it was.

Frankly I wish we were all covered in fur. It would solve a lot of life's beauty problems.

That's what i worry about really, that the skin doesn't go back. I'll concentrate on losing the weight and exercising to tone and just hope really.

Fingers crossed in two months or so i'll be able to tell you!

It won't happen in a couple of months. Like the other poster said if the skin is stretched, it may never go.

But get yourself a kettle bell & do some Russian twists! Best Stomach work out ever!

Oh thank you katespade i'll look into doing that, thanks for the advice.

I did some hula hooping the other day, my stomach is still aching so it must work

Careful with kettle bells, I have just buggered up my shoulder - physio said she saw loads of injuries as a result of kettle bells and warned me to stay well clear!

Your welcome, it is truly amazing. I do mine on a exercise ball. That has been cut in half with a flat bottom. I honestly can't remember what its called.

In another mind blank. Jillian michaels has a good stomach exercise for the 'pouch' at the bottom of your stomach, its like an air bike, but both legs are straight up, and you lift up your bottom.

I hope you understand what i mean.

You need to do 'reverse crunches' to target this area
