Callanetics, anyone doing it?

I can't remember what made me buy Callanetics, 10 Years Younger in 10hrs but I have. I do about 4 or 5 spin classes a week and a bit of toning in the machines room at the gym. Its a bit Tracy Andersonish and very dated. Anyway, I aim to do it every other day. I don't need or want to lose weight but i'd like to tone up my flabby bits. Is anyone else doing it and what results have you seen?

I'm starting on Monday, it's the original book though not a spangly dvd or anything.
I was going to measure my bits and then re measure after 30 days.

I bought Tracy Anderson mat workout ages ago, but haven't done it.
Full of good intentions I am.
Was Tracy not much good?

I love the TA Mat workout and still do bits of it: the standing abs, mat abs and weightless arms. Its very good. I tend to get fed up if if start feeling that i 'should' be doing a routine which is why i don't do TA more often.

Callanetics dvd is funny to watch because its SO 80s. I was thinking about modifying some of the moves where i find myself hanging on to a chair whilst sitting on the floor - I think i could still do the move but be in a more comfortable position. I'm going to try it again tonight.

Have you got teeny tiny arms then?
I watched her leg workout on the mat, and thought I couldn't possibly do manouvre my legs into those positions.

I've had TA Mat for yrs, there was a time i did it religously and I swear, you could see a difference in 2 wks - also in the abs. I always the the legs and bum sections were too long - I never like them. I also have her post pregnancy (i don't have children...) and her leg routine in that dvd is fab and only about 10 mins long. The abs were a really difficult in that one.

My abs are good, but my legs, Oh dear lord..

I did the Callanetics this morning but I dont do any of the stretches as she bounces/pulses whilst in the stretch which is what instuctors at the gym have been saying not to do for decades! I think i leave so much out that i only actually do about 20 mins of exercise.
