Several questions please

  1. On ADF do you literally fast or restrict calories.
  1. If calories restricted, what to?
  1. If 5-2 are the 2 fast days to run cocurrently?
  1. Would fasting/restricting Monday, Wednesday and Friday work?

I am just over 11st and 5ft 3. I need to get down to 9.5 st or less. I'm 37. I am still bfing my 9m dd and she nurses 5x a day. I'm 12 on bottom but 16 tops. Carry weight on boobs (36J) and tummy.

Hi, im not the expert, but in the absence of anyone else:
400-500 cals a day on the 'fast' days.
I dont think it matters if they are consecutive or separate, as long as there are two of them in the week.
Of course, why not.
Hope that helps. X

Just to clarify, I am sure you do not have to restrict yourself to one meal, the 500 calories can be spread over meals and snacks.
This is my second week, my fast days are Monday and Tues and I eat approx 600 cals;
Breakfast - 50g plain porridge made with water
Snack - 25g peanuts/sultana's
Lunck - Shredded Wheat with Skimmed Milk
Dinner - Roast chicken with stacks of steamed veg
Lots of water/green tea/black tea in between.
I am not in the least bit hungry as I've picked carb based meals to keep me fuller for longer but only 600 calories for the day.
Week one I lost 2lbs, I was genuinely amazed, I've lost 14lbs since January and had hit a plateau 4 weeks ago.
