Quick question, what weights for the shred and do I do it every day or every other day?

I was always taught to exercise every other day or the muscles can't repair.

Or am I just kidding myself? Grin

Hiya fluffy!

Just seen your post on the Shred thread too Smile

I think if you can plan to take one day or two days off a week with the Shred that's a good starting point. You will almost certainly ache! But that is gooood and carry on if you can, unless it's very bad aching or injury ache...

Having said that if you wanted to it every other day, it's really up to you. If you did it 3 days a week with a day of rest in between I reckon you'd still see changes but not as quickly (and I bet you'll ramp it up as you start to become addicted!)

Re the weights, you can buy sets (look in argos or amazon) - if your budget stretches try and get a set of say 3 different weights, starting around 1kg as you'll want to move up quite quickly. I started on tins, then up to 1.5 kg and now chop and change between 1.5 kg, 2.5 kg, 3 kg and 5 kg.

Good luck!
