Can anyone recommend a good one, unfortunately all classes in my area are at awkward times plus with 2 dc's it's difficult to get to them.

I am looking for something I can do in my own wee world :)

I have this one

I like it, but it's the only one I've done so couldn't tell you if it's any better than any others though.

That looks good and has good reviews, I seen these 10 minute ones but surely you'd need to do longer than that?

I have never tried Pilates before (well once 10 years ago) is it hard?

Sorry, I forgot to "Watch" the thread, have only just seen your post. Did you get this, or find another one?

It's not hard in terms of getting into the positions, it's hard work though, if you know what I mean, you know you've exercised! If I remember correctly, you start to notice a difference quite quickly. I imagine 10 min would be useful if you're very pushed for time and just want to do a couple of exercises each evening. I think you'd need to do different 10 minute sessions each day, to really work the whole body though.

I think I am going to get my DVD out again as I haven't done it since DD was born (oops, that's a YEAR!!!!) and feel like I am getting a bit ceased up and achy.

one I liked was the Ryan Giggs one

I started yoga about a year ago using the yoga for dummies dvd. There basic workout is great for beginners because it shows you modifications for each pose if you are not bendy enough to do them.

As I have progress and learned some more I have come to appreciate what a well designed work out it is because it warms up the muscles before giving them a proper stretch. This makes it very gentle and relaxing but can also be a great work out once you start to improve and really work all the muscles in your body.

I really enjoy yoga now and its become a daily activity I look forward to. It combines some me time with something positive and healthy and I didnt need to go to a single class to get these amazing benefits.
