I just tried a workout dvd and managed 12 minutes! :(

Don't worry about that... and certainly no need to be ashamed.

Next time you'll manage a longer time and so your return to fitness will continue.

i saw your title and thought "that's good for a first go!"

then i saw your sad face

seriously, the first time i did a workout dvd i managed about 5 minutes before i needed to sit down.
12 mins is good IMO! and the more you do it the better you'll get.

go you!

don't do what I did and sit down to a slice of cake afterwards Hmm

thisisyesterday - no slice of cake in the house or else might have been an option.

Maybe I don't like the dvd?

Just pick yourself back up and try again, 12 minutes is fine and at least you are doing something about trying to get fit! Don't beat yourself up. Next time try to go for 13 minutes.

Yes I thought that was good too. I did one of Davina's and really put my all into it. The next day I could barely walk-I am not exaggerating. I had to go up the stairs on all fours.

Haven't done it again. i stick to walking. Smile
