Briffa help please for a newbie!

I have just read Briffa and it sounds worth a go, but I have a couple of questions. Can you experts help? I am working my way through your threads, but haven't quite finished yet, so apologies if I'm duplicating! Anyway.... Nuts! I'm not a great nut fan, but will eat a few. Can it be any kind? Peanuts? Cashews? Salted? Dry roast? What about another snack - just boiled eggs? Is a banana a day a no-no? Thank you!

I'm a newbie too. I've just had a look and he says tree nuts can be eaten freely either raw or salted (probably best to steer clear of honey roasted). I think the thing with Peanuts is they are actually a legume and not a nut so they should be eating in moderation only.

Bananas are tropical fruit and should be eaten in small quantities. I think one a day would be more then a small quantity.

I'm snacking on nuts/yoghurt/veg/cheese/tuna/salmon/mackerel

I did a very very light briffa last week and am feel much better

Hello haz. Thanks for your reply. That makes sense! Yes, I am planning to do a bit of Briffa-light and I am very encouraged to hear that you are feeling good for it already. I figure that cutting out sugar can only help!

Come join us here - it's not officially a Briffa thread but a lot of our information and inspiration is straight out of Escape the diet trap or his blog.

Thank you for the invitation Queen! I will make my way over. I am really keen to do this. I've done WW many times, lost a bit then given up (hungry). I turn 40 in the new year and want to get my eating sorted. I am reading and preparing to start!
