There are (I think!) 23 weeks until Christmas.

Anyone like to join me for a 1lb a week (at least) Sunday weigh-ins?

I will. I'm not dieting because I love food but have a couple of stone to lose after having ds2 10 weeks ago. I've started exercising and when I last weighed during the week I was 11 1/2 stone (5 foot 7) so will use this as my starting weight.

hugandroll · 15/07/2012 18:27

Do you mind me asking where you are starting?

MumPotNoodle · 15/07/2012 18:52

I will. I have been really good this week and lost 3lbs Grin, so now I am just a whopping 11 5.

OHforDUCKScake · 15/07/2012 18:56

Yeah Im up for it. I'll have to stop at losing 14-16lb though.

Im currently 10 stone 2lb, 5' 7"

OHforDUCKScake · 15/07/2012 19:21

No im 5' 6" even not 7!

MumPotNoodle · 15/07/2012 19:36

can I be 5 6? Grin

DeeDeeDeeandDee · 15/07/2012 19:38

I'm 5ft 5" and 11st 6lb. Never been so big, but I'm very, very bad at dieting, so I thought 1lb per week is doable.

Glad to see you all on board. See you next Sunday for our weigh-in results! Grin

Gym done. Hope it contributes to a weight loss!

pixiestix · 16/07/2012 14:17

G'wan then! Grin

1lb a week sounds deceptively doable, even for me.

MumPotNoodle · 18/07/2012 09:37

How's everyone doing?

Not too bad a week so far for me although the summer holidays are just around the corner Grin.

hugandroll · 18/07/2012 11:28

I've been exercising but my diet is shocking. I keep eating chocolate and biscuits (those are the only unhealthy items in my diet but I do eat too much of them). Will eventually stop as I have in the past but I have to do it in my own time, usually happens when I've been exercising for a few weeks I naturally want to eat very healthily too.

Dillinger · 18/07/2012 17:54

Hello can I join too please? Have low carbed on and off for a while as I think its a way of eating that suits me and am on day 3 or so level 2 of the 30 day shred. Was feeling good and pleased with myself, however today I feel like absolute crap - headachey and tired. More than tired, even. Anyway Ive eaten some bits I shouldnt have so now beating myself up about that too.

Want to go for a nap but not sure Id sleep tonight if I did. Anyway hoping to get back on it tomorrow and hopefully the support will help Smile Need to break the sugar cravings that I didnt really know I had until now.

Im 5ft 3" and 9st 5lb. Would like to be a little under 9st but it seems so hard to sort myself out for the last push.

MumPotNoodle · 19/07/2012 18:30

well, that's me done workwise for the next six weeks. This could go one of two ways...I will slink back into the staff room in September to gasps of amazement or I will trudge back in pretty much the way I trudged out Grin.

norahjonesisnotmyname · 19/07/2012 18:49

I'd like to join in :) I started another thread but then just saw this one. I need to lose 11lbs (5kg). I'm 5' 3" and 9st 6lb (60kg) and aiming for 8st 9lb (55kg). My plan of action is to cut portion sizes a little, stop snacking between meals and exercise more.

hugandroll · 21/07/2012 11:06

Well I've started to watch what I eat finally. Only problem ive faced this week is my first af since ds2 was born so I ate a lot of crap at the beginning of the week so doubt I will be able to report a loss but I am now focused on the task at hand so hope I will only be letting the side and myself down for one week only.

pixiestix · 21/07/2012 14:41

I don't think I'm going to make my 1lb loss this week Blush Will have to try for two next week!

MumPotNoodle · 22/07/2012 07:53

1lb down, so 11 4 for me this week. How can losing a pound take so much effort ConfusedGrin

hugandroll · 22/07/2012 08:00

I've stayed the same :( I've worked out 3 times a week but I had my first period this week since having ds2 so my diet has been bad. I am determined to lose this coming week.

hugandroll · 22/07/2012 08:00

Well done mumpotnoodle

MumPotNoodle · 22/07/2012 08:12

Thanks Hug. I know how disappointing it is when the scales don't move after you have made so much effort but your period would have a bearing on your weight this week. I exercised 5/6 times this week for my measly 1lb loss.

norahjonesisnotmyname · 22/07/2012 08:45

mumpotnoodle well done on your loss this week :) I'm not going to do a weigh in this weekend as I only started and joined up on Thursday this week so a bit early for me but will weigh in next weekend.

pixiestix · 22/07/2012 09:10

Eek, as predicated I gained 1.5lbs

Nevermind, I will do amaaaaaaaazingly next week. Grin

hugandroll · 22/07/2012 09:18

Next week is a new week. I am on my fitness pal as of last Friday too so if any of you are too and want to add me my username is the same as my mn one.
