I joined up today (in Sweden). I have loads of books and bits of paper in gobbledygook. When did it all get so confusing? The pictures all look nice but the thought of 'a bit of this, a bit of that, a slice of other and a pinch of this' at 7.00am makes me want to cry.

And how do you choose whether to count the points or go for the all inclusive option? (Other than the all inclusive rye bread being flippin nasty)

But I can eat as much octopus and ostrich as I like, so not all bad news Hmm

I joined WW about as couple of months ago, lost nearly a stone now. I find it easiest to count points, as it's all about portion sizes for me. I haven't really changed what I'm eating, just the quantities of it. Try getting a set of digital scales & measuring out what they reckon is the right amount of your normal breakfast.

Ooo - and the monthly pass / e-source is invaluable. Good luck Grin

I joined 10 weeks ago and have lost over 2 stones - nearly 2.5. I also find the points relatively easy and have cut down my portion sizes.

Well I've survived my first day intact. Do I count cups of coffee as water intake? And how big a glass are they basing 8 glasses a day on? I had 3 mugs of coffee and 4 highball glasses of water. Anymore and I think I might spring a leak.

Well done to both of you. I hope I can do so well.

Hi Kladdkaka
Well done for getting through so far!!

I'm in a similar boat to you. I re-joined this week after a break of 2 years and i can't make sense of it - it seems to have got more confusing, as you say. I'm still trying to get to grips with it and it wasn't helped by the fact that i couldn't get onto my own page (i'm doing online as i don't like the meetings) after i spoke to the help desk it turned out that i'd been logged on as a different me from another time with ww.

I have decided that i'm not going to get very far with ww unless i can make it my own plan and am going with a filling and healthy plan for every day and then i have a weekly balance of 49 points on top of this to play with. this way i don't have to do much counting and gaffing around and can eat a healthy diet (i hope:))

I keep going over stuff on their website - trying to select the info that suits me best rather than trying to read all of it.
good luck - lets know how you're doing

hi there....I joined ww again online (I hate those meetings too)...after 10 years and having had 2 kids . I've downloaded the ipad app which I find brilliant (think they might have one for the phone too) and I've tried to moderate my usual menus so that it doesn't feel too different and reduce portion sizes and count the points. I was definitely having in particular, too many carbs, too bigger bowl of cereal, too many naughty snacks. I don't have a huge amount to lose tbh but it was creeping on and suddenly through boredom at times and picking at leftovers from the kids I felt enough was enough.

you will get in to the swing of it and have your favourite breakfasts, work out some fave lunches and you'll start to work out how to have what you had before but maybe a little less and in a different way.

I don't tend to eat any of the speciality ww food...most of it seems a bit disgusting and with a few exercise sessions and a few nights out, the points allocation see,s to be working. I've lost 6lbs in 6 weeks which I'm happy with... I have ideally about another 6/7 lbs to lose so we'll see what happens but good luck and give it a go. I found it all v.nfrustrating to start with and time consuming..

I'm so depressed today with the whole thing. Stuck to the plan like glue all week and haven't lost an ounce :(

Add to that, I'm pretty pissed off at the lack of support from WW. I paid the monthly fee at my first meeting as it works out a lot cheaper than paying weekly. Haven't had a meeting since then as every one within a 2 hour drive has been closed for holidays ever since. They all reopen week after next. So I paid a month for nothing :(

Oooh I'd be asking for my money back on the monthly pass!

Can't help with the lack of weight loss really - I lost very little on ww because I found the points system very difficult. I'd use up all my weekly points early on, then have another blowout at the weekend. I'm now with slimming world and like it much better. But I do know people who've had success with ww so I'm not saying it doesn't work - it just didn't work for me.
