I have been putting on more and more weight, I am thinking about joining Jillian Michaels weight loss thing online, has anyone tried it? what kind of things does she tell you to eat?

I eat mostly healthy but eat alot of chocolate and cakes on top of healthy meals. I have had enough and need to make a change.

Years ago I did closer online and lost a stone quickly.

I also did no carbs before and lost lots of weight, but tried it recently and couldnt stick to it for more then 2 days.

I also did weight watchers a few months ago, spent all that money and didnt even try.

How hard can it be to stop eating?

I have also tried the paul mckenna but that hasnt really worked either Confused

So would like to hear some success stories of jillian michaels if there are any??

Hi Nots, I am on the other thread too.

I don't know about the J M online thing ( but I love all of her DVDs) but My Fitness Pal is excellent - really straightforward, which a very good database of foods and it's free.

Hi omletta,

so how much do you need to loose? How is it going with myfitness pal? I have it on my phone but has never worked well for me, I think I need some one else to tell me what to eat and inspire me as I can get very samey with what I am eating...

Join us, join us

It's not no carbs, it's low carbs. It works - and if you like we'll tell you exactly what to eat AND inspire you Grin

Well, I want to loose a stone - I have a special family event coming up and a dress that won't do up! I am just five foot so any extra weight makes me look round - I weigh 9 and would like to be 8. I was 8 for as long as I can remember (except whilst pregnant of course) but I hit forty last year and quit smoking (finally). I also got a job where lunch is provided - I have a very, very sweet tooth and a pudding every lunch time has taken its toll.

MFP seems to be working quite well for me, I know that my problem is that I eat too much. Notwithstanding all that pudding I have a pretty healthy diet; loads of vegetables, very few carbs and lots of fish. We rarely ea meat (on ethical grounds) and when we do it's local, organic and lean. MFP has challenged some of my assumptions about the calorific values of foods and portion sizes. It's also kept me focused on drinking water and sticking with exercise

Hadn't finished that......posted too soon.........
I just had a quick look at GM's 30 day plan - it looks interesting but a it American I thought, I don't know how deadly available the things included are? It does look to be reasonably flexible though, that's always my concern in that if I fancy something ( withing reason) I want to be able to have it.
