I've just started in the past few days trying to eat at a 40% carbs, 30% protein and 30% fat ratio and struggling a bit.

I can get the carbs down to 40% but its getting the protein up without getting the fat up even higher.

If you manage it what are you eating in a typical day?

I hadn't heard of the 40-30-30 before but it sounds quite good.

A quick google search brought up some sample recipes here.

White fish and chicken breasts v low in fat and high in protein. Also fat free dairy ESP cottage cheese.

ooh I have some white fish in freezer - I will try and work that into some meals this week.

We have chicken quite often as well.

I can't eat a lot of dairy which I think is part of the problem.

Thanks for that Smile
