Crazy little things we do to try and lose weight

when my ds was a toddler i went on a diet and lost 3st - did it gradually, it took 2 years but i got there, but over the last three years i have put it all back on :-(

i dont eat excessive but what i do eat (and drink) is not healthy food. i know it but i can't stop it! i go through stages where i am healthy and conscious and eat very well and then a few days into it i eat badly and back to the start again. i work 4 days a week, dh works 5 (includes most weekends) and i struggle to get childcare for ds as he is SEN so i cant go to the gym or out of the house to exercise. I bought wii fit and zumba but find its too much hassle sorting everything out to then do it to put it all away again so i have come up with an alternative.

when i am at work and go to the toilet, i do 15-20 squats (for me thats about 60-80 squats a day). i walk 20 minutes at least once a day when i am at work (sometimes twice) and i have now started dancing round my living room!!!!! that's right, dh works until 8pm and my ds goes to bed at 7pm and watches tv until 8pm. i have recorded a concert of one of my fav singers and now i play that and dance around the room. (I dont have to set any equipment up as its on my sky + so its just press a couple of buttons and away i go) i probably look totally stupid but my thought is i am burning calories off!

what crazy things do other people do??

I do press-ups and planks in the work shower cubicle twice a day and run home from work (12km) at least once a week. But I also go to the gym and try and do weights at home on non gym days.

Why not try jillian michaels, only equipment is 2 dumbells so easy to get out and put away.
