I need some energy. Diet recommendations?

I just eat whatever at the minute. Need to lose about 3 stone which is weight I have put on after giving birth to DS (nearly 2 years ago) because I am now too skint and tired to exercise. Blush

I know, I know.. I just need to eat healthily and force myself to exercise.

However, has anyone tried a diet that has flooded them with energy? I would kill for that feeling right now. It doesn't help that DS is a rubbish sleeper and wakes at 5am. I can't face going for a run before he gets up and am spent at 7pm after half a day at work and half a day with a livewire toddler.

Just get lots of protein and fresh fruit and veg. I know it's said all the time but it does work. And make sure you're not eating too little.

When I'm feeling hungry and drained I have a tin of tuna, low in calofies, filling and really good for you.

Low gi is good for energy.
Cut out wheat and sugar, take a good multi vitamin, drink lots of water and do half an hr of exercise a day (walking is good) and im sure your energy levels will improve.
