Using sugar again instead of artificial sweetner and seem to be loosing weight?!

Go figure! About 1 month ago I stopped using artificial sweetner in tea etc. and went back to using sugar (had run out of as and hadn't gotten round to getting new one).

Haven't really been watching all that much what I've been eating but my scales insist I lost 2kg! (4.4 pounds).

Coincidence or some uncanny disclosure that artificial sweetners were keeping me overweight?

Am sure I've read somewhere that if you use artificial sweetener that it doesn't help weight loss, as your body realises you are being conned out of sugar, so you crave sugary products to compensate (and end up eating them!!).

hmmm you might be right there... my sweet tooth definitely has taken a dive... though now I crave spicy sausages LOL
