I wouldn't. Why don't you come join us on the low carb thread? You get to eat proper food without worrying about shitting yourself.

Yep, picture the fat that sits on top of a curry from the Indian takeaway ...?

Then imagine that leaking out of your bottom, and you having absolutely no control over it, gross!! Blush

Yes i was on it a few years ago....i did lose a bit of weight but tbh the side effects were so bad i stopped taking them Sad

I took it back in 2005 and I lost 60lbs in about 6 months, so a good result for me then. I was very motivated then though - have since gone back on it to lose the remaining weight and failed. The side effects are quite a good deterrent for eating anything that isn't low fat, which is why it worked. So yes it can work for lots of people, but you have to have motivation - it's no magic potion - just a tablet that makes you have the orange oily runs if you dare eat something with too much fat in Grin.

Oh, and there's a supply issue at the moment which means that you can't get it anywhere and most stores haven't had any for months, so bear that in mind if you get a prescription. You can't even get Alli anymore (the half dose alternative you can usually get over the counter after a brief discussion with the pharmacist).
